Ingredients
Rice Flour - 2 Cups
Gram Flour(Besan) - 1 tbsp
Bengal Gram Dal(Chana Dal) - 2 tbsp
Groundnuts - 2 tbsp
Green Chillies - 4-5
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
Curry Leaves(Chopped) - 1tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Water - 3/4 Cup
Oil - To Fry
Method
1. Grind Green chillies and mix with ginger-garlic paste in a bowl with water and liltle salt and and bring to a boil.
2. In another bowl mix rice flour, roated groundnut,roasted bengal gram dal,chopped curry leaves and 1 tsp hot oil. Knead this mixture into soft dough(not too thick or thin) by adding the chilli and ginger-garlic boiled water.Check for salt and spice...If you want a lil' extra spice, u can add lil' chilli powder.
3. In a skillet or pan, heat oil enough for deep frying.
4. Make small lime size balls of the above dough and press them flat with ur finger tips on ur palm (I use a ziplock bag or any plastic sheet).Wet ur finger tips before pressing..makes it a lil' easier ;)
5. Fry these 2-3 at a time till golden brown on both sides.
6. Store these in a Ziplock bag or an airtight container.
